Description

You will own daily pipeline operations, monitoring, and production incident response for data workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Triage production incidents using real-time alerts and lead post-mortems to improve reliability.
• Support research-driven workflows and coordinate with external vendors to resolve data issues.
• Create and maintain runbooks for common operational scenarios and incident response.
• Improve reliability and operability of pipeline components, including data structure and quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data operations, data engineering operations, or production support.
• Proficiency in Python for operational scripting and troubleshooting.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and validating data in production workflows.
• Unix platform experience for command-line troubleshooting and operational tooling.
• Ability to monitor pipelines, investigate root causes, and support incident resolution.

Preferred Skills

• DevOps experience to strengthen operational practices and deployment/operations workflows.
