Description

Lead operational monitoring, incident management, and platform support for enterprise-scale data and analytics ecosystems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and availability of Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Talend, Azure SQL MI, Synapse, and Power BI/Qlik Sense environments.
• Manage end-to-end incident response for P1/P2 issues, conduct Root Cause Analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Administer user provisioning, role-based access, and report/dataset promotion across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production.
• Coordinate application maintenance, patching, release deployments, and disaster recovery drills.
• Enable DevOps practices by supporting CI/CD pipelines, Git-based repository management, and automation initiatives.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in data operations or managed services.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, and Talend.
• Proficiency in Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Synapse Analytics, and SQL Server.
• Experience supporting Power BI and Qlik Sense reporting platforms.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes for incident, change, and release management.
• Proven experience in client-facing roles with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and coordinate across business and IT.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data governance tools such as Alation, Ataccama, or Profisee.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Background in establishing analytics Centers of Excellence (CoE) and governance models.
