Description

You will drive architecture design, prototyping, and pragmatic delivery of scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. Partner with engineering teams to accelerate the Enterprise Data Platform and define standards for data modeling, security, and governance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define and promote enterprise standards for data modeling, security, and access design.
• Drive architecture design and prototyping for the Enterprise Consumption Layer.
• Deliver consumption-ready data products for BI and AI use cases.
• Validate patterns through proof-of-concept initiatives and guide teams in implementation.
• Explain technical trade-offs to diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with hands-on delivery in modern data platforms.
• Strong experience building on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency with BigQuery, Dataform, and GCS.
• Experience with Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.
• Solid foundation in dimensional modeling and data quality.
• Deep understanding of IAM and security access design.
• Ability to work across architecture and implementation layers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience defining patterns and guiding adoption across multiple teams.
• Proven track record in data governance and enterprise standards.
