Description

You design, develop, and maintain large-scale data systems, ensuring data quality, scalability, and performance across batch and incremental workloads.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.
• Develop and support ETL/ELT pipelines for data integration across internal and external systems.
• Perform SQL performance tuning, indexing, and optimization for large datasets and complex joins.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality issues, including production support activities like reprocessing and backfills.
• Document SQL logic and data dependencies while collaborating with Analytics, Engineering, and Product teams.

Required Skills

• Advanced SQL development and optimization for relational databases and large-scale datasets.
• Hands-on experience building, maintaining, or supporting ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or C#) for data processing and automation.
• Experience with workflow orchestration platforms such as Airflow, Dagster, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of SQL performance tuning, indexing, and optimization techniques.
• Ability to implement complex data transformations and validation logic.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with dbt for SQL-based transformations, modeling, and testing.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Apache Doris, Snowflake, or cloud-based data services.
