Data & Platform Engineer (Google Cloud Platform):
 

• Own infrastructure decisions: Terraform module design, Google Cloud Platform project structure, IAM strategy, environment promotion (dev, staging, prod)
• Google Cloud Platform SME and tech lead, sets direction, not just follows it
• Builds reusable pipeline frameworks from scratch, not just consuming existing ones
• Designs Terraform modules from ground up, not just using existing ones
• Architect and build ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataflow (Apache Beam) as the primary tool
• Use Dataform for SQL-based transformations on BigQuery
• Comfortable with enterprise/legacy data integration
• Hands-on architectural ownership

Skill Set:

• Google Cloud Platform: BigQuery, Dataflow, CloudComposer, IAM
• Terraform: reading/writing modules
• Google Dataform
• Exposure to pipeline/ELT concepts, Python/Bash scripting
