Data Platform Program Manager

Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for data replication from on-prem sources to cloud warehouses and platform modernization initiatives.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, execution, and delivery for data replication to Snowflake and containerized Db2 upgrades in OpenShift.
• Oversee cross-functional teams, stakeholders, risks, budgets, and timelines while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Coordinate vendors, resolve issues, and report status for enterprise-scale data movement initiatives.
• Drive value realization and ensure adherence to Truist policies and regulatory standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience managing complex data governance and platform modernization projects.
• PMP or SAFe certification with deep expertise in Agile/Scrum/Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management tools including MS Project, Rally, ServiceNow, and Clarity.
• Technical knowledge of data replication tools such as IIDR, QRep, Debezium, or GoldenGate.
• Hands-on understanding of Kafka, Snowflake, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Experience with Oracle, DB2, and SQL databases in banking or financial services domains.
• Strong background in risk management and regulatory compliance within financial data processing.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of tenure in similar program management roles.
