Description

You manage the operation, installation, and monitoring of big data platforms, maintaining reliability of core systems while resolving issues within SLA.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain reliability of core big data and online computing systems, resolving issues within SLA.
• Evaluate infrastructure requirements for all deployment and upgrade activities.
• Develop technical documentation covering design, configuration, troubleshooting, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure platform operations comply with security, regulatory, and audit requirements.
• Provide recommendations for data governance practices and system optimizations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Unix system engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems, storage, and network IO principles.
• Hands-on experience with Unix and Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, Shell, or Ansible.
• Experience with Hadoop, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of computer software basics and data structures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloudera, Informatica, or Denodo runtime components.
• Knowledge of HDFS, OpenStack, Spark, or Flink.
• Strong system design and information security knowledge.
