Description

You will architect and enhance operational data hubs to deliver consistent product data across digital and in-store channels.

Responsibilities

• Architect highly-scalable, distributed enterprise data solutions focusing on big data platforms and enterprise data warehouses.
• Design and document architecture across multiple levels, including conceptual, logical, physical, data flow, and sequence diagrams.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technology solutions and lead proof-of-concept projects.
• Provide hands-on architectural guidance throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• Perform third-party vendor assessments and collaborate with peer architects to deliver integrated solutions.

Required Skills

• 12 years of overall IT experience with 8 years of architecture experience.
• 10 years of business process and system design experience.
• 7 years of experience running technology proof-of-concepts and functional/systems modeling.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Cassandra.
• Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and serverless computing.
• Expertise in optimizing performance for high Transaction Per Second (TPS) scenarios using horizontal/vertical scaling and caching.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed systems design for high-volume transactional environments.
