Key Responsibilities:

• Define the data product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Identify business needs and opportunities to improve data products.
• Manage the full data product lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, launch, and improvements.
• Work with Data Engineers and Data Scientists on data pipelines, models, and data services.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, lineage, and documentation.
• Translate business requirements into data models, transformations, metadata, and rules.
• Act as the bridge between MNIT technical teams and DCYF business teams.
• Manage stakeholders, prioritize requests, and communicate product roadmaps.
• Define KPIs and success metrics and monitor product adoption/performance.
• Support dashboards, reporting, analytics, and business insights.
• Ensure privacy, compliance, governance, and responsible use of data/AI.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation.

Must-Have / Desired Skills

• 4–7 years in data management, analytics, data engineering, or related areas.
• Strong Data Product Management / Product Leadership experience.
• Knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, data warehouses, data lakes, metadata, and governance.
• Experience with SQL, ETL, data pipelines, and Databricks.
• Experience working with Data Engineering, Architecture, and Data Science teams.
• Analytics tools: Power BI, Tableau, Looker, dbt, or Google Analytics.
• Knowledge of data sharing agreements and enterprise data constraints.
• Familiarity with Python and Java.
• Experience building internal data platforms or developer-facing products.
• Experience implementing modern data architectures.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a regulated industry and statistical analysis/reporting is a plus
