Description

You will manage data protection solutions and resolve complex technical issues for enterprise-level customers and dark sites.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues via phone and email while maintaining end-to-end case ownership.
• Architect Commvault software solutions to address specific customer needs and proactively suggest deployment improvements.
• Develop requirements and designs for Commvault software modifications, working directly with developers to implement and test improvements.
• Maintain accurate client documentation, audit reports, and timely CRM journal entries.
• Identify opportunities to improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and update Customer Run Book content.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in technical support, system administration, or operations.
• Solid understanding of Commvault solutions.
• Strong knowledge of backup theory, design, and data management fundamentals.
• Experience with modern operating systems, networking concepts, and computer security concepts.
• Proficiency in system administration.
• Demonstrable ability to use ticket data and product documentation to research and resolve technical issues.
• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in storage, backup, or infrastructure environments.
