Description

You will validate data pipelines, database changes, and deployment scripts to ensure data quality and integrity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute test cases using Python and SQL.
• Validate database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation checks across systems.
• Track defects through closure and communicate findings clearly to development teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, database QA, or a related role.
• Strong foundational knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
• Ability to write SQL queries for data validation and develop basic test scripts in Python.
• Understanding of data validation and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with test case design, test execution, and bug/defect tracking processes.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to ETL pipelines and data engineering workflows.
• Basic knowledge of automation frameworks.
