Data Quality Assurance Engineer

You will ensure data integrity and quality across complex data pipelines and warehousing environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute QA methodologies and processes to validate data accuracy and consistency.
• Validate ETL processes, data warehousing structures, and data management principles.
• Test data flows involving APIs, microservices, Python, Spark, and Kafka.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
• Communicate technical findings and quality metrics effectively in writing and verbally.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data quality assurance or a related role.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting and Snowflake or other data warehouse platforms.
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, DataStage, or Talend.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Spark, and Kafka.
• Experience testing APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools including Power BI and Tableau.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience in the Mortgage or Finance industry.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
