Description

You will manage data validation, governance, and quality assurance across data pipelines.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex SQL queries and stored procedures to validate data integrity.
• Implement data profiling, cleansing, and monitoring frameworks.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, PySpark, or Shell.
• Manage data quality within AWS environments including Redshift, S3, Glue, and Athena.
• Ensure compliance with security testing and data governance best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data quality engineering, data validation, or governance.
• Expert-level SQL skills for complex queries and validation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda, RDS, Athena).
• Proficiency in ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, AWS Glue, or DBT.
• Strong scripting capabilities in Python, PySpark, or Shell.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with testing tools including JMeter, Postman, or RestAssured.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data frameworks like Hadoop or Spark.
• Background in financial services.
