Description

You will own the development of frameworks to improve data quality and protect critical data through policies, standards, and governance metrics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Profile data to identify trends, patterns, and inconsistencies to conceptualize and implement DQ rules.
• Translate conceptual DQ rules into validation scripts and recommend improvements based on data domains and system layouts.
• Map data sources, movement, interfaces, and analytics using flow diagrams and structure charts.
• Define and present critical metrics and data quality controls to senior management and partners.
• Break down complex data into actionable insights and prioritize project work for client presentations.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in data profiling, quantifying issues, and identifying data trends.
• Proficiency in SQL or similar techniques to extract data from data warehousing platforms.
• Experience in data management, data governance, data quality, or data analysis.
• Ability to use analytical tools to evaluate data and draw actionable conclusions.
• Strong problem-solving skills to decompose sophisticated data problems into simpler components.
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including documentation and testing.
• Experience with IDQ, AbInitio DQE, or other DQ tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Collibra for data management and template deployment.
• Knowledge of the Capital Markets Finance domain.
