You will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of organizational data assets through automated processes and cloud-based solutions in Norfolk, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data quality processes, cleansing strategies, and profiling techniques to identify and remediate data issues.
• Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to define and enforce data quality standards.
• Optimize data architectures and leverage cloud platforms to manage scalable storage, processing, and analysis of large datasets.
• Document root causes of data issues and generate regular reports on quality metrics for cross-functional teams.
• Work with data scientists and analysts to implement effective solutions that meet specific data quality requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Quality Engineering or a related data engineering role.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Analytical problem-solving skills applied to data profiling and pattern analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and tools.
