Description

Design, code, test, and debug software to translate business requirements into secure, maintainable code. Own the development lifecycle from specification to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAS data reports, analyses, and ETL scripts.
• Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Research and analyze system problems to develop necessary program documentation.
• Execute development activities based on written specifications and established guidelines.
• Communicate project status, level of effort, and potential issues to Project Managers or Team Leads.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data science applications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Python for ETL and database programming.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in database coding and data cleansing/preparation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Experience working with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience using Unix shell in a Linux environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Extensive experience with SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Visual Analytics, and SAS Viya.
