Description

Lead data science initiatives to build and deploy production-level ML models, managing multiple client teams and onsite-offshore relationships.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build frameworks for developing production-grade Data Science and AI models.
• Translate complex business problems into state-of-the-art data science solutions.
• Lead and manage onsite-offshore teams to ensure quality and timely project outcomes.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior management, emphasizing business impact.
• Familiarize teams with deploying and monitoring ML models in production, including CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 8-20 years of experience in data science and building hands-on ML models.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
• Experience with Spark and distributed computing.
• Expertise in ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
• Strong background in statistical modeling, including hypothesis testing, A/B testing, and sample size estimation.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of Gen AI and GPU code optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Retail industry.
• Expertise in specialized ML areas: Time Series, Graph Networks, Recommender Systems, NLP/NLU, Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning.
