Description

Lead data science and analytics engagements to design, build, and maintain scalable solutions that unify and analyze data from multiple sources.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate cross-functional teams of data scientists and data engineers to deliver algorithms and client solutions.
• Design, architect, and develop big data solutions to ingest and process large, disparate datasets.
• Build predictive models and proof of concepts to assist clients in making data-driven decisions.
• Oversee daily operations of global data and analytics teams, including reviewing developed models and providing technical feedback.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients to facilitate presentations and improve data systems.

Required Skills

• 4 years of professional services or consulting experience.
• 4 years of hands-on experience in data science and its business applications.
• 2 years of experience managing teams of Data and Analytics professionals.
• 2 years of experience in big data and data engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following: R, Python, SQL, or SAS.
• Experience with ETL, data cleansing, and manipulation using SQL-based tools.
• Knowledge of data structures including APIs, NoSQL, RDBMS, Hadoop, S3, or Blob Storage.
• Experience with big data ecosystems such as Hadoop, AWS, or Microsoft.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Statistics, Operations Research, Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field with 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience; or a Master's degree with 4 years of experience.
