Description

You will build and maintain scalable data pipelines, distributed computing systems, and microservices for data science applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modular, reusable software components and microservices.
• Implement API endpoints and distributed computing systems.
• Apply software engineering practices including unit testing, refactoring, and CI/CD.
• Design software using Object-Oriented and Functional Programming principles.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of programming experience in Python.
• Expertise in Python data engineering packages: Pandas, Numpy, Pyarrow, Pytest, Scikit-Learn, and Boto3.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Flask or Django.
• Experience with Angular or other JavaScript web development frameworks.
• Proficiency in Design Principles and Patterns, Unit Testing, Refactoring, CI/CD, and version control.
• Experience designing and implementing API endpoints and microservices.
• Experience implementing distributed computing systems.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
