Description

Data Scientist on the Data and Analytics Platform Services team, building analytical models and datasets for enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development and deployment of predictive and prescriptive models.
• Translate business problems into data science solutions by engaging with stakeholders across finance, operations, and field engineering.
• Explore large datasets using modeling, analysis, and visualization techniques to drive improved insights.
• Collaborate with data engineers to extract data from Relational Enterprise Data Warehouses, Operational Data Stores, and Azure Data Lake Store.
• Communicate results, methodologies, and strategic ML/AI vision to technical and non-technical senior leaders.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience applying data science, AI, and analytics techniques to business problems.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark for solving real-world problems.
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning modeling, with a specific focus on time-series forecasting.
• Ability to operationalize machine learning workloads using Azure Databricks, Azure ML Studio, or comparable platforms.
• Degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven track record of leading data science projects and mentoring team members.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate complex analyses to senior stakeholders.
