Description
You will build models that drive evidence-based commercial decision making through actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Develop models for brand positioning, pricing, demand forecasting, and risk modeling.
- Work with data warehouse and software engineering teams to productize analytic applications.
- Perform new development work alongside occasional model maintenance.
- Communicate technical findings and model insights to both business stakeholders and technical colleagues.
Required Skills
- Strong foundation in econometrics, interpretable machine learning, and statistical inference.
- Proficiency in Python or R, with the ability to work in both as needed.
- High level of statistical and analytical acumen.
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, a Master's degree with 3 years of experience, or a PhD in Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related STEM field.
- Recent PhD graduates may apply if research experience fulfills the work experience requirement.
- Critical thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SQL, AWS, BigQuery, R-Shiny, or Dash.
