Description

You will develop and productionize data analytics services to support information management mission activities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and unit test code for production systems and demonstration capabilities.
• Build iterative screen mock-ups and use rapid prototyping to drive requirements and design.
• Translate stakeholder requirements and user stories into specific software development tasks.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to specify and design final systems.
• Develop technical documentation and briefing materials for program status reviews and control gates.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in data science or application development (Master's degree equates to 8 years).
• Experience with text analytics, including search, entity extraction, sentiment analysis, summarization, and categorization.
• Proven experience cleansing and processing large raw data sets using ETL processes.
• Experience researching and implementing novel machine learning algorithms for business problems.
• Ability to develop proof of concepts and evaluate state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms.
• Proficiency in designing and developing web-based platforms and services using Python and/or Java.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or a relevant field.
