Apply data science methodologies to powertrain development, product lifecycles, and vehicle verification.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer usage and product performance data to support the entire product lifecycle.
• Develop data-driven models to provide interpretations, recommendations, and predictions.
• Validate models through a workflow spanning from initial scripts to test cells and vehicle verification.
• Extract meaningful insights from large datasets to drive powertrain engineering decisions.
• Collaborate with global software development and design teams within agile environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data science or product development.
• Proficiency in Python, including Numpy, SciPy, Pandas, and TensorFlow.
• Experience with R, SQL, and Git.
• Working knowledge of Hadoop, Azure, and PySpark.
• Competency in C, C++, or Scala.
• Ability to use MATLAB and Simulink for engineering projects.
• Strong analytical skills applied to large-scale engineering datasets.
• Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with relational databases, data privacy, and IoT-based instrumentation design.
• Skills in data visualization using Power BI, QlikView, or Tableau.
• Experience working with plant or component models.
