Description

You will develop categorization and optimization technologies for the data platform, focusing on machine learning, enterprise search, and data matching algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support data matching, enterprise search, data mining, and machine learning efforts.
• Design and implement data-driven algorithms to enhance system performance.
• Build long-term strategic architecture roadmaps focused on data management and integration.
• Provide subject matter expertise and hands-on delivery for Big Data Modeling platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate and define use cases.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Data Science.
• Proficiency in Hadoop/MapReduce, Hive, and Pig.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Perl.
• Experience with R, SPSS, or Matlab.
• Expertise in NLP, clustering, classification, regression, and anomaly detection.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, QlikView, JasperSoft, or D3.
• Hands-on experience standing up and using Big Data Hadoop platforms like Cloudera or Hortonworks.
• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a similar field.
