You will design and implement data pipelines, models, and statistical methods to support data-driven program management.
Responsibilities
Develop and apply statistical prediction, inference, and optimization methods to analyze data.
Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for database management.
Tune existing database queries to ensure optimal performance.
Build and maintain data pipelines and data model designs.
Perform data gathering, evaluation, testing, and implementation for complex business analysis.
Required Skills
Minimum of 5 years of recent, full-time experience as a Data Scientist.
At least 3 years of experience in a lead position.
3 years of experience with Azure Databricks database and analytics platform.
Proficiency in Python and R.
Strong SQL skills for complex query development and performance tuning.
Experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, Azure PostgreSQL, or Denodo.
Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure Data Factory.
Experience with ETL tools such as IBM DataStage.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Psychology, or Public Health with specific coursework in predictive analytics or quantitative research.
Preferred Skills
Professional certifications such as CAP, Databricks Data Engineer, Azure Data Scientist Associate, or DASCA Senior/Principal Data Scientist.
Experience with MS Power BI for data presentation.
