Description

You will join the business intelligence team to drive data-driven decision-making through advanced statistical analysis and infrastructure optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead multifaceted analytic studies and experiments against large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Execute exploratory mathematical and statistical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and root causes.
• Develop and define data models, including Spark, SparkSQL, and HiveSQL jobs to populate data assets.
• Coordinate with Data Engineers to build environments and work with engineering teams on long-term data platform architecture.
• Clean, massage, and organize data using programming to support research and analytic activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data science or a related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, or Java.
• Experience with big data technologies including Spark and Hadoop.
• Expertise in data mining and machine learning.
• Working knowledge of statistical models and business intelligence.
• Ability to process unstructured data using NoSQL databases.
• Experience with NumPy and MatLab.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure.
• Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, mathematics, or engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization tools like D3.js and Tableau.
• Proficiency in Kotlin.
