You will lead data-driven projects to advance business interests, mentoring junior staff and delivering actionable insights.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, suggest, and manage data-driven projects from inception to completion.
• Collate and clean data from various sources to ensure quality for analysis.
• Delegate tasks to Junior Data Scientists and monitor their performance.
• Provide practical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Produce and disseminate non-technical reports detailing project successes and limitations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Proficiency in Python (preferred) or R.
• In-depth understanding of SQL.
• Competence in machine learning principles and techniques.
• Ability to devise and oversee data-centered projects.
• Capacity for supervision and mentorship.
• Familiarity with statistical procedures and model cross-validation.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to relay technical insights in layman's terms for business decisions.
