Description

You will bridge the gap between the Decision Science Ecosystem platform and the data science community, focusing on enabling data scientists to model and operationalize solutions. You will advocate for the platform, foster a developer community, and ensure alignment with platform roadmaps across Global Data Assets products.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Data Science community to implement best practices and align with platform vision.
• Develop and contribute tools that simplify platform operations and model deployment.
• Create educational content, provide technical support, and organize workshops or hackathons.
• Gather developer feedback and advocate for community needs within the data realm.
• Foster a thriving data science community by building relationships with key influencers and leaders.

Required Skills

• Masters degree in Data Science, Data Modeling, or Artificial Intelligence.
• 10+ years of experience in data science, model development, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python or R, specifically using libraries like pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
• Experience with data visualization tools and MLOps practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud ML platforms: AWS SageMaker, GCP, or Azure.
• Ability to read and understand code without primarily developing it.
• Excellent communication skills for evangelism, promotion, and community engagement.
