Description

You will develop machine learning, data mining, statistical, and graph-based algorithms to analyze complex datasets. Responsibilities Develop and train machine learning systems based on statistical analysis to support mission automation. Build models or design experiments to simulate data when training sets are unavailable. Identify appropriate algorithms and tune model parameters to optimize performance. Evaluate analytics using standard metrics including cross-validation, ROC curves, and confusion matrices. Oversee analytic efforts and guide teams through the development process toward scalable solutions. Partner with software engineers and cloud developers to implement prototype algorithms into production frameworks. Required Skills Programming experience with R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB. Experience developing feature vectors for machine learning algorithms. Ability to generate reports and visualizations that provide data-driven insights. Proven track record of translating manual data analysis into automated analytics. Active TS/SCI security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering, or computer science) with 7+ years of experience, a Master’s with 5+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years.
