Description

You will apply data science methodologies to analyze and optimize physical infrastructure pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and consolidate data from sensors, SCADA systems, and IoT devices.
• Analyze pipeline performance by examining flow rates, pressure, temperature, and corrosion levels.
• Develop predictive models to forecast performance and detect potential leaks, blockages, or equipment failures.
• Assess operational risks including environmental hazards and regulatory compliance to propose mitigation strategies.
• Optimize operational efficiency by identifying improvements in energy consumption and transportation routes.
• Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to engineers and operations personnel.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data science or related analytical roles.
• Experience with pipeline performance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with IoT data integration.
• Proficiency with AWS environments.
• Ability to apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to identify anomalies.
• Experience working with SCADA or sensor-based data collection.
• Degree in any graduate field.
