Apply statistical modeling and machine learning to solve complex analytical problems. You will own the data pipeline from extraction to visualization, ensuring insights are actionable and clearly communicated.

Responsibilities

• Apply statistical algorithms, econometrics, and predictive modeling to analyze large datasets.
• Query and manage data using SQL across relational and NoSQL database systems.
• Develop data visualizations to communicate findings using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
• Utilize cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure for data processing and modeling.
• Execute analytical tasks using programming languages including Python, R, or MATLAB.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a data scientist or in a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or MATLAB for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience with SQL and both relational and schema-less (NoSQL) databases.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
• Experience working with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
• Practical application of statistical algorithms, machine learning, or predictive modeling.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX (3x per week).
