This role builds and refines models to drive business foresight and operational planning.
Responsibilities
Identify and acquire necessary data, performing transformation and exploration while adhering to privacy policies.
Build, maintain, and refine forecasting models for business trends and resource needs.
Translate forecasts into actionable staffing and scheduling recommendations aligned with service-level goals.
Present forward-looking insights and recommendations via visualizations, dashboards, and PowerBI reports for decision-makers.
Collaborate with engineering teams to assess the impact of AI automation on support capacity.
Required Skills
4+ years experience in data science, forecasting, capacity planning, or workforce analytics (Bachelor's required) OR 2+ years experience (Master's required) OR equivalent experience.
Proficiency in statistical techniques, managing structured and unstructured data.
Expertise in building and scaling workforce forecasting models.
Ability to write efficient, readable, and extensible code following software engineering practices.
Experience accounting for data leakage, bias/variance tradeoff, and methodological limitations.
Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, and Power BI for analysis and reporting.
