Data Scientist based in Irvine, CA. You will own data engineering and model development tasks for a 1-year tenure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Implement and optimize database solutions with Postgres, Redis, and ElasticSearch.
• Build and fine-tune transformer architectures including SLM, LLM, VLM, and Embedding Models.
• Manage database technologies to support data science workflows.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional experience in data science or related fields.
• Proficient in Python for data manipulation and model development.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries and database management.
• Hands-on experience with Postgres, Redis, and ElasticSearch.
• Familiarity with transformer architectures (SLM, LLM, VLM, Embedding Models).
• Any Graduate degree.
