Description

Apply data mining and statistical modeling to drive optimization and business outcomes within financial services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Mine and analyze data from company databases to optimize processes and business strategies.
• Develop custom data models, algorithms, and predictive models to enhance customer experiences and revenue.
• Establish and implement an A/B testing framework to assess model quality.
• Partner with functional teams to implement models and monitor their impact.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor model performance and data accuracy.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data manipulation, statistical modeling, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in R and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Comprehensive knowledge of machine learning techniques including clustering, decision tree learning, and artificial neural networks.
• Advanced understanding of statistical concepts such as regression, distribution properties, and statistical tests.
• Experience in data architecture design and implementation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on product development.

Preferred Skills

• Coding experience in C, C++, or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Knowledge of distributed computing tools such as Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, or Spark.
