Description

You will lead the implementation of cloud Data & Analytics services while maintaining on-premise offerings. You own the release of analytical pipelines for Cloudera and Azure, building helper libraries to improve platform usability for data science users.

Responsibilities

• Build and productize analytical pipelines for Cloudera (on-prem) and Azure (cloud).
• Develop helper libraries and capabilities to enhance usability for data science users.
• Lead delivery of pipelines that ingest, store, and analyze data to ensure accessibility.
• Support business users with scoping, onboarding, and delivering use cases.
• Test new analytical cloud services and collaborate with technology teams to resolve user pain points.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in data science roles.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning and Azure Databricks.
• Experience building and maintaining data, tools, and processes for reproducible analysis.
• Proven ability to lead data science work within a team environment.
• Experience with Apache Spark or Tableau.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders of varying seniority.
• Experience upskilling business users in analytical standards and data science techniques.
