Description

You will design, build, and deploy data analysis systems for large datasets within interdisciplinary engineering and research teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create algorithms to extract information from large datasets and develop metrics to drive business decisions.
• Establish scalable, automated processes for model development, validation, and implementation.
• Research and identify AI, Machine Learning, and NLP methods to apply to specific content sets.
• Own the integrity of technical and data design to ensure design delivery and supportability.
• Collaborate with customers to apply data science to mission-specific content and identify emergent trends.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data science or related engineering roles.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language: Java, Python, R, or Scala.
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning, NLP, and statistical methodologies.
• Experience with distributed computing concepts and Big Data analytics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
• Proven ability to test ideas and adapt methods from data extraction through to implementation and validation.
• Strong ownership of technical design and ability to work with evolving requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL, Kafka, NiFi, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Background in data modeling for graphs.
• Experience with search engines, classification algorithms, and recommendation systems.
