Description

You will build data solutions to improve travel information accuracy and real-time data availability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy data applications using Python and Spark.
• Develop data hubs and pipelines to extract and unlock travel information.
• Set up and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Build data solutions for detecting and delivering supply changes to travelers.
• Perform data exploration to identify business opportunities and service improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data science roles.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL.
• Experience with ETL for large datasets on distributed systems, including aggregation and deduplication.
• Strong background in DevOps CI/CD tooling, specifically Git, Terraform, and Circle CI.
• General cloud experience is mandatory.
• Experience exposing data via APIs, SQL Server, or event streams.
• Competency in data exploration using Jupyter notebooks and dashboarding.
• Ability to devise independent ETL flows and manage workflow scheduling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Functions, Event Hubs, or Streaming Analytics).
• Knowledge of workflow management tools like Airflow.
