Description

You will build marine simulation models by integrating data science workflows with naval architecture equations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Scrape data from PDF documents to construct regression datasets.
• Build and execute regression models on extracted datasets.
• Integrate regression models with naval architecture equations for marine simulations.
• Develop front-end interfaces for simulation models using Plotly Dash.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and data engineers on various projects.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in data science or data engineering.
• Advanced Python programming for data science and data engineering.
• Experience building solutions with PySpark.
• Proficiency with Scikit-learn.
• Experience using Plotly/Dash.
• Hands-on experience with data scraping packages.
• Ability to work self-sufficiently within a technical team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
• Experience working with the ChatGPT API.
