Description

You will engineer and manage scalable data management systems and automated data services across multiple cloud platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and construct highly scalable data management systems.
• Automate and manage data systems across various cloud service platforms and toolsets.
• Mentor junior team members on engineering standards and best practices.
• Cross-functionally collaborate to deliver large-scale IT projects and products.

Required Skills

• 6 years of experience in large-scale IT project or product delivery.
• 2 years of experience in data streaming, messaging, management, and database technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, MQ, RabbitMQ, ELK, or Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency in KSQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing and building data platforms and setting up data tools.
• Experience tuning and troubleshooting streaming or messaging platforms.
• Coding and scripting skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
