Description

You will manage data flows and lineage within Fixed Income Cash & FX systems.

Responsibilities

• Uplift strategic Fixed Income systems to enable data capture in the firmwide data catalog.
• Annotate system code to define and document risk data sets.
• Modify build systems to automate the publication of data sets and updates.
• Collaborate with upstream and downstream subject matter experts to document data lineage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing and supporting large production systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Perl, and SQL.
• Experience with Linux, Autosys, and Shell scripting.
• Working knowledge of JSON and YAML.
• Experience with build pipeline systems.
• Fixed Income domain knowledge.
• Aptitude for understanding complex data models and schemas.
• Ability to trace data flows and transformations across large, multi-language codebases.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with C++.
• Knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
• Knowledge of messaging or streaming systems.
