You design data models and analytical frameworks to measure vulnerability exposure, track remediation effectiveness, and generate executive insights.
This role is remote.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable data models to integrate and normalize vulnerability data from cloud, infrastructure, application, and endpoint sources.
- Develop quantitative methods to measure risk posture, mean time to patch, and distinguish recurring systemic issues from one-time remediation.
- Build automated dashboards and reporting solutions in Power BI or Tableau for weekly trendlines and monthly analytical snapshots.
- Perform deep-dive analyses to identify root causes of vulnerability accumulation and forecast predictive risk insights.
- Partner with engineering and risk teams to define KPIs, align on data governance, and deliver clear narratives to senior stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in data science, data modeling, or analytics.
- Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau for dashboard development.
- Strong background in statistical analysis and quantitative methodology.
- Experience integrating disparate data sources into queryable structures.
- Ability to translate complex data findings into actionable business insights.
- Experience with vulnerability management or security data is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CVE clustering and technology stack analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and endpoint security data.
