Description

Apply machine learning and deep learning to optimize customer acquisition, retention, pricing, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement prediction, classification, and clustering models.
• Translate complex business issues into actionable analytical objectives.
• Identify predictive limitations and caveits in model outputs.
• Communicate analytical results and business implications to multi-disciplinary teams.
• Explore applications for large language models and new AI techniques.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in statistical modeling and quantitative analysis.
• Proficiency with Python, including pandas and scikit-learn.
• Experience with Spark or PySpark.
• Experience with AWS, Databricks, or Azure AI Studio.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Operations Research).
• Working knowledge of Linux, Git, and Docker containers.
• Ability to interpret results and think critically about analytical conclusions.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced Degree (MS or PhD) in Statistics, Mathematics, or Quantitative Marketing with a machine learning focus.
• Experience with AWS SageMaker or Databricks.
• Background in retail electricity or gas.
