You will use statistical modeling and machine learning to solve complex business challenges and drive decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Identify valuable data sources and datasets to improve business results.
• Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of structured and unstructured data.
• Research and implement custom statistical models and machine learning algorithms.
• Execute methodical analytical experiments to evolve ideas into production solutions.
• Coordinate with engineering and software development teams to integrate models into continuous business and software cycles.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of practical experience as a Data Scientist with a proven track record.
• Expertise in Python, R, and SQL.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and their real-world limitations.
• Extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis.
• Strong mathematical foundation in statistics, algebra, and multi-variable calculus.
• Proficiency in querying Relational and No-SQL databases.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical techniques including regression, properties of distributions, and statistical tests.
• Experience with techniques such as GLM, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, and social network analysis.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Scala, Java, or C++.
• Experience in B2B, Financial Industry, Asset Management, Sales, or Marketing.
