Lead data science initiatives and team delivery for marketing and business engagement solutions, owning technical decisions and production stability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data scientists in delivering AI and ML solutions for marketing and business engagement use cases.
• Design, train, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Develop statistical models and analytics using Python and Azure, integrating AI capabilities via APIs, SDKs, and microservices.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and actionable insights, presenting findings to senior management through visualizations and storytelling.
• Optimize platform components for efficiency and scalability using ML-Ops best practices and cloud-native architectures.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 8+ years of overall experience in AI/ML engineering or data science.
• 5+ years of experience in the insurance or financial industry, specifically in sales, marketing, or customer engagement analytics.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and operating production ML and GenAI solutions, including APIs and real-time inference.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, exploratory data analysis, and anomaly detection.
• Experience with Azure, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Deep understanding of statistics, mathematics, and responsible AI practices, including bias mitigation and model monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on expertise with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, vector databases, and LLM integration.
• Experience with employee benefits plans.
• Skills in prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluating generative models for real-world applications.
