You will design and develop AI models, algorithms, and rules to solve complex client problems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI models and associated algorithms.
• Obtain, clean, and validate training data to ensure completeness and correctness.
• Preprocess data and compute features using Python, Java, or Scala to tune model parameters iteratively.
• Evaluate solution options and present technical recommendations to project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project managers and train clients on the use of delivered AI solutions.

Required Skills

• 1 to 7 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Machine Learning, including training, testing, feature engineering, and avoiding overfit.
• Proficiency in Python and either Java or Scala.
• Experience with Bash.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
• Strong analytical mindset for evaluating information from multiple sources.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Customer-facing attitude.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of statistics, data visualization, tree-based algorithms (Random Forests, XGBoost, LGBM), or Deep Learning algorithms.
• Experience within the financial services sector or a startup culture.
