Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Enterprise Data Solutions team. The ideal candidate will combine advanced data analysis and algorithm development with exceptional communication skills to drive business value from both structured and unstructured data. This role is pivotal in modeling complex business problems, developing innovative data science use cases, and delivering actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Model complex business problems and discover actionable business insights through data exploration, preparation, and advanced analytics.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics roles.
• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models, including recommender systems and other complex algorithms.
• Identify, design, and build new data science use cases by observing and analyzing existing business processes.
• Lead and contribute to deep learning, predictive analytics, machine learning, and text analysis projects.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; Ph.D. preferred.
• Proven experience with Python, R, and SQL.
• Strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, and data analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to develop data science use cases from business process observation.
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) for data science and machine learning workloads.
• Outstanding communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, curious, and creative.

Highly Preferred

• Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) frameworks and applications.
• Experience developing and deploying recommender models or similar complex machine learning solutions.

Preferred/Bonus Skills

• Experience with Azure ML or other cloud-based machine learning platforms.
• Insurance industry experience or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning).
