You will apply data mining techniques to extract insights from large datasets and optimize search-related performance.
Responsibilities
Analyze search data to identify patterns, trends, and optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve search recall and ranking algorithms.
Develop and implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of search models.
Propose data-driven modifications and improvements to existing algorithms.
Communicate complex findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills
3 years of experience with database languages including SQL, PL/SQL, and PG-PL/SQL.
3 years of experience writing production-quality software in Python.
Proficiency with Python testing frameworks including Pytest and Mocking.
Experience with version control using Git.
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically GCP.
Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or Operations Research, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills
Master's degree or Ph.D. in a highly quantitative field.
4+ years of experience using Python and SQL in production-quality projects.
Ability to influence stakeholders and contribute to team roadmaps for ML adoption.
