Description

You will apply data mining and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large datasets and optimize search-related performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze search data to identify patterns, trends, and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve search recall and ranking algorithms.
• Develop and implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of search models.
• Propose data-driven modifications and improvements to existing algorithms.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 3 years of experience with database languages including SQL, PL/SQL, and PG-PL/SQL.
• 3 years of experience writing production-quality software in Python.
• Proficiency with Python testing frameworks including Pytest and Mocking.
• Experience with version control using Git.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically GCP.
• Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or Operations Research, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in a highly quantitative field.
• 4+ years of experience using Python and SQL in production-quality projects.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and contribute to team roadmaps for ML adoption.
