Description

You will own the statistical analysis and data mining efforts to drive procurement decision-making.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze statistics from multiple sources to identify trends and provide leadership recommendations.
• Design, modify, and build new data processes and handle large, complex data sets.
• Lead research projects involving advanced data mining, algorithm development, and data pipeline construction.
• Apply machine learning and predictive analytics to public procurement data and systems.
• Communicate data findings to business and IT leaders to influence organizational strategy.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data science or related analytical roles.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Experience with Shell Scripting and PowerShell.
• Hands-on work with Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Knowledge of procurement data, reporting systems, and professional services procurement processes.
• Ability to build data pipelines and perform advanced data mining.
• Experience using Git, GitHub, XML, and JSON.
• Familiarity with Big Data platforms including Apache Spark, Hive, and MapReduce.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, EMR, and Athena.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for data visualization.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Lake.
