Description

You will design and build dataset processes for modeling, data mining, and production. You manage end-to-end machine learning pipelines, from exploration and feature engineering to model building and online testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and build dataset processes for modeling, data mining, and production.
• Improve data quality, search quality, and predictive capabilities.
• Perform and interpret data studies and product experiments regarding new or existing data sources.
• Develop prototypes, proof of concepts, algorithms, predictive models, and custom analysis.

Required Skills

• PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; or a Master’s degree with 2 years of related experience.
• Machine learning, information retrieval, data mining, statistics, or NLP.
• Programming proficiency in Java, Scala, or C/C++.
• Scripting experience with Python or Perl.
• Statistical language knowledge, specifically R.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting product experiment results.
• Working with large data sets and distributed computing tools like Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, or Spark.
• Relational Database Systems and SQL.
• End-to-end ML pipeline management including performance evaluation with big data sets.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in eCommerce or Online Retail.
